Built in 1912 and derived from coquina rock, a masterful blend of shell and sand composition, one of Daytona Beach's oldest homes within the Historic District is now restored as a charming bed and breakfast inn. The entire inn displays colorful artwork from artists scattered throughout the Sunshine State and Florida Keys.

The inn's friendly parlor welcomes you to sit and read, sip a glass of port or sherry and chat with other guests, play the baby grand piano, or engage in a challenging game of chess.

The sunroom, bathed in Spanish tiles and fresh green foliage, invites you to read the morning newspaper before breakfast, review the many area attractions, or perhaps exercise on the treadmill.

The dining room provides the setting not only for a delicious and filling five course breakfast each morning, but also is where guests can find complimentary ice and beverages, and baked cookies, cakes or brownies available throughout the day.

The outdoor spa and sunning deck is available to guests any time of the year for relaxing and unwinding after a day at the speedway, golf course, beach, or just because!

Each of the four beautifully-appointed guest rooms has its own private bath, and three feature claw-footed Victorian soaking tubs. Bubble bath is always available at The Coquina Inn!

Additional amenities include 600 thread count bed linens, embroidered bathrobes, wireless internet, hairdryers in each bathroom, CD clock radios, cable TV, guest phone, DVD players and DVD library, Turkish towels for the outdoor spa, bicycles, and turndown maid service each night with chocolates.

west of the Halifax Harbor
Marina and Beach Street with the revitalized downtown area's shopping
and restaurant opportunities, and a five minute drive to the "World's
Most Famous Beach". For the sports enthusiasts, tennis, golf, minor
league baseball, deep-sea fishing, and boat and jet ski rentals are
nearby (please refer to the Golf tab for golfing details and packages).
We are approximately one hour from Disney World, Universal Studios,
St. Augustine, and Kennedy Space Center. |
